What a Home Window Clean Looks Like?

How a residential window cleaning is ran at your home:

1. Pre-start Inspection: On arrival, before cleaning your windows you will be invited to inspect the job site safety and condition of every glass pane that is scheduled to be cleaned. Any existing window damage will be reported to you.
2. Fly Screens: They are carefully uninstalled, dusted down, and reinstalled at the end of the operation. If you request it, they will wash your screens for an additional fee. Alternatively, they can left off so you can wash them before they are reinstalled. Dilapidated screens cannot be cleaned without damaging them so you will not be charged for them. Dilapidated screens no longer protect your home from pests and should be replaced.
3. Screen Swivel Clips: Plastic swivel clips grow brittle over time and eventually snap. If requested, Old screen swivel clips can be replaced for an additional fee.
4. Frames: Each will be dusted to remove loose soils. Dilapidated window frames may indicate a ventilation or structural issue are present. They promote mold and cannot be cleaned properly. It is recommended that you speak to a professional window installer about having your windows repaired or replaced. Clean them will not be attempted and you will not be charged for them.
5. Tracks: Your window cleaner will dust out and vacuum your window tracks. Track washing is a very time consuming task, and can be requested during quotation for an additional fee.
6. Glass Panes: Every glass pane you are paying to have washed will be washed and detailed. Additional glass surfaces can be requested for an additional fee. Broken window glass cannot be serviced properly and is hazardous to your family and visitors. It is recommended that you speak to a glazier about having any broken glass pane replaced. When identified, broken panes will not be washed and you will not be charged for them.
7. Additional Cleaning: My standard quote excludes hard water stain removal, construction debris removal, screen washing, awning cleaning, blind dusting, blind cleaning, fascia and soffit cleaning, gutter cleaning, high dusting, and solar panel cleaning. Additional services may be negotiated for an additional fee.
   
8. Post-Work Inspection: When the job is done, You will be invited to inspect the workmanship. When you are satisfied the job is done!
